The group is intended for individuals who have already made some progress on narrowing down the focus of their job search, and can answer the question “So, what do you want to do?”

This group meets bi-weekly to collaborate on job search topics. We focus on skills that go beyond the basic tips you find online and are informed by my 30 years of experience hiring hundreds of people across both large and small companies.

Specifically, we are learning, practicing, and refining our ability to:

- Understand how recruiters and hiring managers instantly perceive candidates based on their profile/resume

 - Finding job opportunities by making and activating connections in a way that does not feel disgusting

 - Uncovering opportunities by working from a "target list" of employers that you’d like to work at 

 - Preparing yourself for the initial recruiter phone screen so you know you’ll “ace” the first interview.

I’ve prepared pre-work, exercises in the session, and homework including:  

 - Resume/profile workshop, in which you get and give feedback on your own and others materials

 - Scrutinizing a job posting to determine how to customize your application

 - How and when to ask for help -- and from whom

 - Preparing for a salary negotiating -- answering "what are your salary requirements"

 - Developing and rehearsing career anecdotes, which make all of the above easier

Virtual Coaching Subscriptions cover continuous virtual access to me via Slack, text, and email, plus one 50-minute Zoom meeting every other week.

To be clear: You’ll be charged every week, and we meet every other week. This rate requires weekly payment via credit card.

The subscriptions include:

• A 50-minute Zoom video session every other week.
